I’ve told you about my nana and my mum but I have one more woman in my life that created an interest to explore and try more. I would say, she created the passion for food and that was my Godmother Teresa. 

She was nana’s eldest daughter, so no surprise that she had a thing for food too. Having worked in entertainment in Mumbai, she had the opportunity to try food in hotels and restaurant which was a luxury for us. My godmother introduced us to dishes like Devilled eggs, Pasta, Russian salad and so much more. For kids in the 80s and 90s from Mumbai, these were dishes we would not all be growing up with.  

So to sum it up, my love for food is from my nana, my passion for food is from my godmother and my mum is my inspiration. Three women that have moulded me into the cook I am today! I guess you all now understand why AMELIA, she was the beginning…..
